What is a the jrw PTO?

The James R. Watson PTO (Parent-Teacher Organization) is a dedicated group of parents, caregivers, and staff working together to support our school community. Our mission is to enhance the educational experience for every student by organizing events, providing classroom resources, and building strong school-family partnerships.

From planning fun family nights and volunteer opportunities to funding enrichment programs and teacher appreciation events, the PTO plays a key role in creating a positive and connected school environment.

Whether you have a little time or a lot, there's a place for you in the PTO. Together, we make JRW even more amazing for our kids!

The JRW PTO held its final meeting of the school year in March. We want to thank our families, staff, and volunteers for their support throughout the year. Your participation in events and fundraisers helps the PTO support programs and activities for our students and school community.

We would also like to thank Andrea Sponhower for her time serving as PTO Treasurer. As her children move on from JRW after completing 5th grade this year, Andrea will be stepping away from the role.

As Andrea steps away from the Treasurer role, we are excited to welcome Jayma Rieke, who will be stepping in as our new PTO Treasurer. We appreciate Jayma’s willingness to serve and look forward to another great year ahead.
