Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northeast Indiana provides a dedicated bridge of support to families of ill children and believes in the healing power of family.
They welcome the families of pediatric patients 21 and younger either as overnight guests or day guests. At the Ronald McDonald House, families find rest in comfortable living spaces and guestrooms.
Start “pulling” for the Ronald McDonald House. Collecting pop tabs is a great way to teach kids about philanthropy and the importance of recycling. Locally, OmniSource recycles aluminum tabs (aluminum pull tabs can be found on soda, soup, vegetables, and pet food cans). The Ronald McDonald House receives a check for the value of the tabs.

📣 Pop Tabs for a Purpose!
November’s pop tab collection truly made an impact! This month, our JRW community brought in 41.27 pounds of pop tabs — that’s nearly 14,270 individual tabs saved, collected, and donated with care.
Every single tab contributes to supporting families at the Ronald McDonald House, providing comfort, resources, and a home-away-from-home during some of their most difficult moments. It’s amazing how something so small can add up to such meaningful support.
We are incredibly grateful for our JRW students, families, and staff who continue to participate in this ongoing service project. Your dedication shows what it means to Support Teachers, Empower Students, and Grow Community—one tiny tab at a time.
